Here is yet another example of why I absolutely LOVE the BC Bandos!!

Today after school, we were practicing with the Ben Folds Army – trying to prepare for the choir concert tomorrow night when suddenly I was called into my office.

I walked in and there stood some 8th graders and a Christmas Tree! A REAL Christmas Tree! It was decorated with plastic forks, a construction paper chain, and construction paper instrument ornaments. It rules!! They put it over by the fake fireplace and wished me a Happy Christmahanakwanzaaka!!!

THAT RULES!! :)

Check it out!

Pretty cool, huh? Did you know . . . I have NEVER had a REAL Christmas Tree in my entire life, let alone a REAL Christmahanakwanzaaka Tree!! :) That’s amazing. Thank you all so much for taking the time to do this! A special thank you to Carli’s mom for helping them get it and bringing it to school.

Here’s a shot with the office in “chill mode”

I love that tree. My office smells like pine. That rules. Maybe tomorrow we should pretend we’re having a campfire and I could play some youth group songs on the guitar and we could pretend to roast marshmallows  or something.

I love pretending to have campfires. Seriously. Last week I pretended to be camping at my house and slept on the floor in front of the fireplace – 2 nights in a row! You can even ask Ms. Walker if you don’t believe me. I talked her into camping one of nights as well. It was fun. I’m 31.  I like pretending to camp.

Well, a million THANK YOUs to the five 8th graders for giving me that sweet tree and surprising me! I love it. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!
